Technology industry meets at the Smart City Congress to help build smarter cities

Zona de exposición en Smart City World CongressDatapro has attended the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), the international event dedicated to smart cities and the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) that this year has pivoted on five axes: digital transformation, the urban environment, mobility, governance and finance and inclusive cities. In its ninth edition, the fairground of L'Hospitalet-Gran Via has had more than 1,000 exhibitors, 400 speakers and representatives from 700 cities around the world.

Since 2017, Datapro is invited by ESRI, the leading manufacturer of Cartographic Information Systems (GIS) in volume of licenses, and it has taken the opportunity to maintain contact with those responsible for the new office that the company will soon open in Barcelona.

It is an special interest event for companies such as Datapro that are looking for strategic alliances and commercial contacts to offer their cartographic digitization services and urban assets control, as well as their extensive business knowledge after about 20 years of experience offering geolocation and capture services of electrical networks data and pipelines of water and gas.

Within its service expansion policy, Datapro has also established relationships with Implemental Systems, which is the main partner of General Electric in Spain and representative of the GIS Smallworld that is an international leader and is established in the main network management companies of public services (electricity, gas, LPG, telecommunications) in the world. Datapro has been contracted with Implemental Systems to the capture and digitalization of medium and low voltage networks for various municipalities in Levante.
