Datapro has attended the conference "The energy sector faces the 'polycrisis' situation" promoted by the Cluster de l'Energia Eficient de Catalunya (CEEC) where it was highlighted the importance of having reliable data of our low voltage network and the need for the information provided by the electricity distribution market to be reviewed to ensure the correct design of networks for the future.
In this sense, it is crucial to take care of data quality and make use of intelligent network management programs supported by tools such as GIS (Geographic Information System), which should be widely used by medium-sized distributors.
The purpose of the conference was to discuss possible short- and long-term scenarios that the energy sector will have to face while it continues to promote the transition towards a new energy model.
